The previous rant was outdated, let's have a new one, eh?

This time around I will do nothing but mourn the greatest and by far most ingeniously written project ever broadcasted in any form of media. Call me shallow, for though I hold a deep admiration for Schindler's list, Ghandi and 'La cite', all dear favourites of mine, I must stress that Joss Whedon's (A name that until recently filled me with contempt for I detest Buffy) Firefly is quite possibly the best-written series ever aired. Most everything about it is, for lack of a better word, great - but as an aspiring writer and English Major, I tell you that what really shines is the dialogue and the characters.

I could further laud the actors or Joss, I could cast scorn and contempt upon FOX for canceling it in favour of reruns from the 80's, Indeed there are many things I could do but will not. I will leave this post nothing but a brief, and unmemorable praise of the mastery of written word displayed in the series. Most noone will read it and none at all remember, not even I, for it is really nothing. It serves only to sate the urge to praise it. Perhaps it will plant the seed of curiosity? I will move on.
